Cropping and straightening photos
- Most images on irex.org should use landscape orientation rather than portrait orientation.
- Don’t crop images to unusual dimensions. Preserve the image’s original aspect ratio in most cases.
- Avoid cropping through people’s necks, wrists, elbows, waists, knees, ankles, and other joints. It looks painful. Instead, crop slightly above or below joints.
